Kökar besteht aus der Hauptinsel Kökar und der Nebeninsel Sommarön, sowie unzähligen kleine Inselchen, die der Hauptinsel Kökar vorgelagert sind.

Mit dem Fotoapparat habe ich die Rändern der Insel fotografiert. Die Umrisse der Inseln, übertrug ich mit Hilfe eines Projektors auf Papier. Das Ergebnis stellte ein Panorama der mich umgebenden Inseln dar. Anders als im geographischen Kartenmaterial, das Inseln immer in der Vogelperspektive abbildet, bildete ich die Inseln in der Frontalperspektive ab. Die Zeichnungen wurden zu der Grundlage einer persönlichen Karte von Kökar, die ich ausgehend vom Hafen in Harparnäs (Ort der Anreise) gegen den Uhrzeigersinn anordnete. Die letzten Zeichnungen sind Inselansichten von Hellsö, dem Ort, an dem sich die Künstlerresidenz befindet. Alle Zeichnungen wurden in Buchform gebunden.

Kökar consists of the main island of Kökar and the minor island of Sommarön, as well as countless small islets off the main island of Kökar.

With the camera I photographed the edges of the island. I transferred the outlines of the islands to paper. The result was a panorama of the surrounding islands. Unlike geographical maps, which always depict islands from a bird's eye view, I depicted the islands from a frontal perspective. The drawings became the basis of a personal map of Kökar, which I arranged counterclockwise from the harbor in Harparnäs (place of arrival). The last drawings are island views of Hellsö, the place where the artist's residence is located. All drawings were bound in book form.
